Met up with Rene in sales after nothing but bad experiences with Telus. He explained everything well and took a lot of time learning my needs to provide a system I would be happy with. The techs who installed everything were outstanding. Thank you Josh and Adam (and the rookie) for being courteous, informative, efficient and considerate especially in the clean up. They took a lot of time explaining everything.to me and making sure my new system was set up the way I wanted it. There is a bit of a learning curve involved but they offered their continuing support

We had major problems with Telus security once they bought out Prices alarms. We switched to Thorn and as it turned out some of the Price's technicians had joined Thorn. We had a great experience from the Rene (sales) to Adam (installer). Adam has a lot of experience and the installation was flawless. They even have electricians available if you need any other work done. I would highly recommend them if you want to get local service and back to a company who cares.

Dependable, courteous, and close at hand. Very helpful with any questions and concerns. Someone answers the phone directly. No need to go through a three - stage menu, and then wait another hour for an agent. It's reassuring to be serviced by people who live in the same area and know the neighborhood!

To start with, we got excellent attention by Rene, who was very professional and convinced ou that they were the one. We were required by our insurance company for our summer home to install fire and security system or us they would not cover for either claim. Accordingly we were in a rush, but as it turned out, we were negotiating just before the July1st long weekend, However Rene and Dennis communicated with us by by phone over the weekend and then arranged for Adam to come over on a 5:30AM ferry from the Island to our property in Mayne Island on July 5th and he had the installation completed by lunch. We did not arrive in Mayne until after Adam had caught the ferry home, but he very patiently explain how to operate the system by phone, so Wendy were able tos easily set up the alarm on our way out that evening.For over 40 years we owned and operated a Project Management firm ,Pacific Liaicon Ltd and completed many major projects for the Government,YVR, BC Ferries, BC hydro, to name a few of our clients. I mention this because I have had to deal directly with people like Rene, Dennis and Adam and consider them to be in the top echelon of mangement people I have had to deal withThanks again to Thorn for a job well done by a group of very committed personnelHenry

When our former alarm security company was bought and farmed out to a large and impersonal communications company, we had some bad experiences. We had an old Intercom system instead of doorbells and it didn’t work well anymore. I wanted to replace with Google Nest Hello video doorbells but knew with this old system, it’d be a challenge. I called Thorne Security because of it’s reviews and was not disappointed. A very knowledgeable young man named Dennis came when he said he would, checked out our situation and left to prepare a quote. Shortly thereafter we received the quote with options we talked about. There was no pressure whatsoever. Our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. When we decided to go ahead, Adam came to install at the agreed time. He came with the systems in hand and worked tirelessly setting up the new doorbells. After installation, he made sure we were comfortable with their operation before leaving. I will add my voice to those who have recommended Thorne Security. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.
